As a not-for-profit, charitable organization, Saint Luke’s Community Living (Anglican Homes Inc.) relies on the kindness and generosity of the public to help support new developments, renovations, special projects and initiatives that will enhance the lives of the seniors in our community.
Donations helped to renovate our Angel Care Suite for palliative care to provide a comforting environment for residents and their family members in their final hours or days. Our Heritage Lounge upgrades, made possible by donations, provide a relaxing environment for residents to read, do puzzles, play board games or visit with family members. Donations are also used to provide extras for day program participants and our various recreation programs, keep our chapel supplied with reading materials, and provide comfortable furniture or specialized equipment for residents.
Donations may be earmarked by the giver for either special or general use. Donations in memory of loved ones who have been residents of Saint Luke’s can be a living reminder of their presence. All donations are tax deductible.
Our current major project is the replacement of our community bus, which is used to bring residents to appointments, bring our day program participants back and forth to their homes, take residents and tenants shopping and on recreational outings.
