Anglican Homes Inc. (Seniors Affordable Housing and Independent Living)

Saint Luke’s Community Living is owned and operated by Anglican Homes Incorporated, a not-for-profit organization located in the Waterford Valley of St. John’s. Saint Luke’s Long Term Care Home strives to provide a long-term continuum of care to meet the individual needs of seniors and their families. We do so through a focus on community, care, respect, dignity, affordability, and Christian values.
At Anglican Homes Inc. (AHI), we are dedicated to helping seniors live affordably and independently across our various campuses, including Cottages, Babb Manor, and Bishop Meaden Manor. We provide a modern, campus-style community featuring cottages, apartments, and townhouses, designed to foster interaction and mutual support among residents.
When Saint Luke’s Homes opened on June 17, 1965, the complex was comprised of the main building for ambulatory residents needing special care, and 48 one-bedroom cottages.
Since then, the Saint Luke’s community has undergone tremendous changes, growing to support an Adult Outreach (Day) Program for people living in their own homes, and providing additional affordable housing for seniors in our apartments and townhouses.
