Would you like delicious meals delivered right to your door?

Meals on Wheels is a program of the Canadian Red Cross.  It is a meal delivery service operating out of The Agnes Pratt home (West End of St John’s) and Pleasant View Towers (East End of the city).  Meals must be pre-ordered and are available each weekday (Monday – Friday) at a cost of $8.50 per meal.  There are no tax or delivery charges.  Each meal includes a hot entrée, a soup, and a dessert, as chosen by a dietitian.  Contactless meal delivery happens between 11am – 12 pm daily from the Agnes Pratt location and around 12 noon from Pleasant View Towers.  A volunteer will knock on your door and then leave your meal.  Special diet requests can be handled on an individual basis.  Food items can be minced or cut, if required.
