From Strength to Strength

Saint Luke’s Community Living is owned and operated by Anglican Homes Incorporated, a not-for-profit organization.Through our four locations in the Waterford Valley of St. John’s – Saint Luke’s Long Term Care Home, the Cottages, Bishop Meaden Manor, and Babb Manor – we strive to provide a long-term continuum of care to meet the individual needs of seniors and their families. We do so through a focus on community, care, respect, dignity, affordability, and Christian values.

At Saint Luke’s we help seniors to live affordably and independently. We offer a modern, campus style community of cottages, apartments and townhouses, where residents can interact with and support one another.

When Saint Luke’s Homes opened on June 17, 1965, the complex was comprised of the main building for ambulatory residents needing special care, and 48 one-bedroom cottages.

Since then, the Saint Luke’s community has undergone tremendous changes, growing to support an Adult Outreach (Day) Program for people living in their own homes, and providing additional affordable housing for seniors in our apartments and townhouses.
